Training Future Professionals in Functional Printing

From June 25 to 27, BCMaterials hosted a specialized course on functional printing, organized in collaboration with the Functional Print Cluster. The course brought together nearly 40 participants from companies, technology centers, and vocational training institutions. It offered comprehensive theoretical and practical training in functional manufacturing and printed electronics using advanced materials.

‘Quantum Dot Computations’ Workshop at BCMaterials (June, 30- July, 1)

On June 30th and July 1st, BCMaterials will host the workshop "Quantum Dot Computations," organized within the framework of the MSCA "Track the Twin" doctoral network, of which our center is a member. The event will bring together internationally renowned figures in the theoretical and computational field of quantum dots, such as E. Rabani (UC Berkeley), O. Voznyy (University of Toronto), J. I. Climente (Universitat Jaume I), N. Yazdani (ETH Zurich), C. Delerue (Université de Lille), and I. Infante (BCMaterials).

ECLectic Doctoral Network Meets at BCMaterials

BCMaterials hosted the second meeting of the Marie Curie ECLectic doctoral network from April 1 to 4. Our center is part of the consortium of 10 European universities, research centers, and companies participating in this project. ECLectic aims to develop electrochemiluminescence (ECL) sensors capable of early detection (within 2-3 hours) of bacteria that cause sepsis. As a doctoral network, ECLectic's mission is to train young researchers in this discipline.

BCMaterials Host of the BIOntier Project General Assembly

On April 1 and 2, BCMaterials headquarters hosted the second general assembly of the Horizon Europe BIOntier project, "BreakIng FrOntiers in Sustainable and Circular Biocomposites with High Performance for Multi-Sector Applications." Nearly 50 representatives from the 25 consortium entities attended the event. 12 different countries are represented in the consortium.
