Science and infrastructure at the core of the program

In addition to providing a comprehensive overview of the current state of the art in neutron science, the XII SETN Meeting will include a program focused on major neutron research infrastructures. Dedicated sessions will present updates on the main neutron sources used by the Spanish scientific community.

The meeting will also feature sessions focused on the status and latest developments of Spanish CRG instruments, which play a key role in strengthening the research capabilities of Spanish scientists.

The scientific program will include more than 50 presentations across the following thematic areas:

  • Materials Science
  • Magnetism and Cooperative Phenomena
  • Soft Matter and Polymer Systems
  • Chemistry, Energy Materials, and the Environment
  • Biology and Life Sciences
  • Fundamental Physics
  • Instrumental Development, Neutron Sources, and Spanish CRG Instruments

In addition to the scientific sessions, the program will include a round-table discussion (July 13), the ordinary and extraordinary SETN assemblies (July 14), as well as poster sessions and various social activities.
