Scientific Visit and Invited Talks by BCMaterials in Brazil

The Edmond and Lilly Safra National Institute of Neurosciences in Natal (Brazil) received the scientific director of BCMaterials, Senentxu Lanceros-Méndez, in early May. During his visit, Lanceros-Méndez had the opportunity to establish ties for future collaborations with the center's researchers. Likewise, he offered the invited talk titled “Smart materials for biomedicine: sensors, actuators and active microenvironments for tissue regeneration.”
From BCMaterials we would like to thank the Brazilian institution for the warm welcome to our scientific director.
Also in Brazil, Lanceros-Méndez took part as a guest speaker at the Intermag (International Magnetics Conference) congress, which took place in Rio de Janeiro. At this event he gave the talk “Magnetorheological printable elastomers: from optimizing performance to self-sensing devices”.
