Meeting of the new BCMaterials Board of Trustees
On April 1st, BCMaterials facilities held the center’s new Board of Trustees meeting. The Board reviewed BCMaterials overall situation and examined the results and activities reported in the 2024 Annual Report.
This was the first meeting of the Board of Trustees with three new representatives from the UPV/EHU: Jon Umerez Urrezola, Vice-Rector for Research; Leire Garmendia Arrieta, Secretary General; and Gotzone Barandika Argoitia, Vice-Rector for Transfer and Internationalization. These new members replaced Inmaculada Arostegui, Aitor Zurimendi, and Guillermo Quindós, respectively.
Thus, the new BCMaterials Board of Trustees is composed of:
- President: Adolfo Morais Ezquerro, Vice-President of the Ikerbasque Foundation.
- Vice President: Jon Umerez Urrezola, Vice-Rector for Research at the UPV/EHU
- Secretary: Leire Garmendia Arrieta, Secretary General of the UPV/EHU
- Member: Gotzone Barandika Argoitia, Vice-Rector for Transfer and Internationalization of the UPV/EHU
- Member: Amaia Esquisabel Alegría, Secretary of the Ikerbasque Foundation
- Member: Fernando Cossío Mora, Scientific Director of the Ikerbasque Foundation
