Innobasque, the Basque Agency for Innovation has published a list made by the Science, Technology and Innovation Plan Euskadi 2020 with the most relevant 46 people in the basque scientific system. Jose Manuel Barandiarán, Scientific Director of BCMaterials and Maria Isabel Arriortua, Senior Research Asociate from BCMaterials as well have been chosen for this list which identifies people based in 4 selection criteria:
  1. International scientific prestige
  2. Scientific Director or main Researchers in Research Centers for the Excellence
  3. Researchers who have achieved an ERC grant (European Research Council)
  4. Directors of consolidated University Research Groups A+.
