Ivan Infante, New Ikerbasque Research Professor at BCMaterials

BCMaterials is happy to announce that Dr. Ivan Infante has started his activity at BCMaterials as Ikerbasque Research Professor, within the Computational Materials Science transverse research line.

Infante has developed a long and intense research career in this very important field for new materials science. He gained his PhD in Theoretical Chemistry (2006) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Then Netherlands) Infante’s previous research has taken place at Università della Basilicata (Italy), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (The Netherlands), University of Geneva (Switzerland), Universidad del Pais Vasco (Spain) and the Italian Institute of Technology (Italy), among other institutions.

Dr. Infante’s research line at BCMaterials will focus on Computational and Predictive Nanochemistry, Colloidal Semiconductor Nanocrystals, Energy Conversion.

We want to give him our warmest welcome to our center.
