Clara Rojas, New Post-Doctoral Researcher at BCMaterials
We are happy to receive Clara Rojas García as a new post-doctoral researcher at our center. Dr. Rojas joined BCMaterials to work in the Advanced Functional Materials and Surfaces research line. She will contribute to the design and fabrication of transient and biodegradable batteries that accomplish the principles of ecodesign and circular economy.
Clara Rojas Garcia received the B.S. degree in Physics from the University of Granada and the M.S. degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the University of Pais Vasco (EPV/EHU) in 2016 and 2018, respectively. In her doctoral thesis, entitled “Parameter Estimation of Physics-based Models for Lithium-Ion Batteries Accounting for Electrochemical and Thermal Effects”, she proposed a novel methodology for the estimation of physics-based models’ parameters. She gained a comprehensive understanding of battery modelling and performance, electrochemical characterisation techniques and material properties.
Welcome to BCMaterials team, Clara!
