Jordi Llusar, New Post-doctoral Researcher

We want to give our welcome to Jordi Llusar as new post-doctoral researcher at our center. After earning his degree in Chemistry at the Jaume I University of Valencia, he completed a master in Theoretical Physics at the Valencia University. Finally, he got his PhD in Physical Chemistry at the Jaume I University as well. He will work in the Computational Materials Science transverse research line in collaboration with Ivan Infante, Ikerbasque Research Professor at BCMaterials. Welcome, Jordi!

Marina Navarro and Hugo Salazar, New Post-Doctoral Researchers

BCMaterials gives a warm welcome to Marina Navarro and Hugo Salazar, who have just started as post-doctoral researchers at our center. Navarro will work along with Juan Pablo Esquivel, Ikerbasque Research Associate, on sustainable and biodegradable batteries for precision agriculture. Salazar’s research will focus on the development of functional ceramic and composite materials towards energy storage, conversion and ion conduction, with the Ikerbasque Research Professor Qi Zang.

BCMaterials, New Partner of the Adagio Program

BCMaterials has recently become an institution associated with the Adagio program. This initiative’s purpose is to offer scholarships to post-doctoral researchers so they can develop scientific projects for 3 years in the field of advanced manufacturing. The Adagio program (Advanced Manufacturing Research Fellowship Program in the Basque – New Aquitaine Region) is an MSCA co-fund initiative promoted by the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea and the University of Bordeaux in France.

IMoH congress brought together international experts in neutron sciences at the BCMaterials headquarters

On June 20 and 22, some of the main European experts in neutron sciences met at the IMoH 2022 congress, 1st International Meeting on Challenges and Opportunities for HICANS. The event, held in the auditorium of the Martina Casiano building, headquarters of BCMaterials, was an international pioneer because of its specific focus on HICANs.
