“HOW TO WRITE A (SUCCESSFUL) PROPOSAL + HORIZON EUROPE! MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE?”.
(BCMATERIALS)
Proposal writing for EU funding is certainly high-profile job. But, at the same time it can be very demanding. The majority of submitted do not usually manage to get funding. Nightmares with “never be founded” land start to appear during the long nights…. There are so many important details to be taken into account that even if the proposal is close to perfect there is still the possibility of getting rejected. Intense competition is one of the main reasons. Depending on the program, there are diverse criteria, and strict specifications for every call to action. That can make it even more difficult for a researcher to write and submit an EU Funding worthy project proposal. However, all the above do not necessarily mean that writing a successful project proposal is a mission impossible. The researcher needs to be able to meet the specific EU criteria in order to write a successful proposal. I will present some tips and give you valuable information to pave the way to more effective and less painful proposal writing process. Furthermore I will introduce the new EU framework, Horizon Europe that is the Commission proposal for a € 100 billion research and innovation funding program for seven years (2021-2027) to strengthen the EU's scientific and technological bases, to boost Europe's innovation capacity, competitiveness and jobs, to deliver on citizens' priorities and sustain our socioeconomic model and values.Related news
