Maibelin Rosales, in the Periodic Table of Chilean Female Scientists

We would like to congratulate our Marie Curie postdoctoral researcher, Maibelin Rosales, for being selected as one of the 118 researchers recognized in the Periodic Table of Chilean Female Scientists. The table has been created by the Legislative Bulletin of Women and Gender of the Library of the Chilean National Congress.
The main objective of this periodic table is to highlight and recognize the work of the selected scientists in 10 areas of knowledge, including: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Astronomy, Medicine, Biology, Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, and so on. Maibelín Rosales was one of the 19 researchers selected in the field of Engineering, Technology and Innovation..
The selection criteria for the scientists are based on the following aspects:
• Having won national and international awards for their scientific contributions.
• Being pioneers in exclusively male-dominated scientific fields.
• Contributions to scientific outreach to the general public.
• Generation of knowledge in the scientific field in which they work.
• Academic career in training new generations of scientists.
