Printed, Organic and Flexible Electronics

The presentation will deal with the emerging field of material science called Printed Electronics. The genesis, scientific and industrial importance as well as the state of the art and future challenges are going to be discussed. All the current printing technologies used for the printing of functional materials will be described in detail. However, the main attention will be put on inkjet printing technique, which appears to be the most promising candidate to cover the needs for the fabrication of future smart objects.
