Diferentes investigadores de BCMaterials participaron en las "II Jornadas Doctorales" de la UPV/EHU celebradas el pasado día 3 de julio en el Bizkaia Aretoa de Bilbao.
Uno de nuestros doctorandos, Ander Reizabal, ganó el premio al mejor póster presentado en la categoría "Clima, medio ambiente, recursos y materias primas". Zorionak!!

BCMaterials at "69th Lindau Nobel Laureate meeting"
Ahmed Esmail Shalan, postdoctoral fellow researcher at BCMaterials was granted and selected to attend the 69th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (#LINO19) that took place in 30 June–5 July 2019 in Lindau, Germany. During that prestigious event, 39 Nobel Laureates, including the 2018 laureates in physics Donna Strickland and Gérard Mourou, meet 600 international young scientists from 89 countries for an inspiring dialogue.

BCMaterials granted with an UNESCO-project
BCMaterials, jointly with an international consortium leaded by the University of Chile, have been granted with a UNESCO-project within the International Geoscience Programme (IGCP 682: Mine Tailing Revalorization) that will explore the possibility to recover highly valuable Rare Earth Elements from mine tailings generated from two different commodities; Iron Oxide,
Copper and Gold type mining deposits (IOCG) and industrial phosphogypsum tailings.
